Ellis resisted the urge to to reach out and touch that scar, but it was all too real. It made his blood boil that a father, the supposed protector of the family, would so something so heinous like hurt his baby. He kept his rage in check because of that...and decided he couldn't run away anymore. If this were to work, he had to settle down and make a home for Abigail.
